British Airways cancels 91 flights as ‘worldwide computer failure’ causes chaos
More than 15’000 passengers of BA shor-haul flights were left stranded because of a computer failure of worlwide dimension.
91 flights were affected and more than 200 other flights were delayed, with some more than five hours behind schedule.
This technical failure will cost dearly to BA, not only in terms of reputation bbut because EU261 regulation clearly covers such matters. a minimum of 250 Euros per passeneger is due by BA.
